Job summary

Kimley-Horn is looking for Environmental Science students to join our Apple Valley, Minnesota (MN) office. This is not a remote position and provides hands-on exposure to regulatory environments, cross-disciplinary collaboration, and practical experience in environmental science.

Develop familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations while learning Kimley-Horn’s practices. Travel may be required up to 10% as projects evolve and partnerships expand.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biology, Environmental Science, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Solve problems, assist project managers, and collaborate across disciplines to realize clients' visions.
• Learn federal, state, and local regulations and Kimley-Horn’s practices and standards.
• Gain knowledge in natural resource regulations, wetlands, botany, soil science, ecology, wildlife biology, GIS.
• Some travel may be required (approximately 10%).
