Job summary

TechLaw Consultants is seeking an Environmental Sample Technician/Driver to support air sampling in the Chicago metropolitan area. This part-time role involves collecting air samples from monitoring devices, with a company-provided vehicle and local travel.

The candidate will document tasks, work outdoors in all weather, and operate on a schedule including occasional weekends from early morning hours. A valid driver's license and legal work status in the USA are required.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of general work experience preferred, but not required.
• OSHA 40/24 Hour HazMat certification preferred, but not required.
• Data recording and processing skills preferred, but not required.
• A valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
• Authorized to work in the USA.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Meticulously document all air sampling tasks (training is provided).
• Use mobile devices.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Work weekday, weekend and holiday shifts (at least every other weekend), from 4 to 11 a.m. daily (includes commute to pick up/drop off company vehicle).
