Job summary

TechLaw Consultants is seeking an Environmental Sample Technician/Driver in the Chicago metropolitan area. The role involves collecting air sample media from monitoring devices, with a company vehicle provided and local travel required.

You will document sampling tasks meticulously, use mobile devices, and work outdoors in all weather. Shifts can include weekends and holidays, typically 4 to 11 a.m., with minimal supervision and independent work as needed.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of general work experience preferred, but not required.
• Environmental training such as OSHA 40/24 Hour HazMat certification preferred, but not required.
• Data recording and processing skills preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Meticulously document all air sampling tasks.
• Use mobile devices.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Work weekday, weekend and holiday shifts (at least every other weekend), from 4 to 11 a.m.

A company vehicle is provided and is picked up/dropped off daily at the company site.
