Job summary

TRC Companies, Inc. is seeking an Environmental – Air Quality Intern for Summer 2027 in our Milwaukee area program. This paid internship runs June through August 2027, with potential to transition to a full-time role after graduation.

You will work under Project Managers and Team Leaders, collaborating with engineers and scientists across field sites. The position emphasizes observing indoor air quality projects, mold investigations, noise monitoring, and industrial hygiene activities, with

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years old.
Pursuing a major as a Junior, Senior, or Masters student (PhD/ Masters/ Bachelor/ Associate).
Minimum GPA of 3.0.
Strong critical thinking, verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Self-motivated and detail oriented.
Safe driving record.

Responsibilities

Accompany experienced staff at construction sites and observe field projects.
Communicate effectively and observe field work.
Conduct research and work on client software planning and implementation projects.
Assist with preparing reports, plans, and specifications for clients.
Receive guidance from mentors and teammates.
Perform other related duties as necessary.
