Job summary
A leading construction materials company in Terrell, TX is seeking an Environmental Specialist II. This role involves ensuring compliance with environmental and safety regulations while coordinating with the safety team. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing safety setting. As a vital member of the team, the specialist will evaluate operations, provide guidance for safe operations, and conduct environmental inspections. Qualifications
- At least 2 years’ experience in industrial manufacturing safety setting required.
- Ability to read and correctly interpret OSHA 1910 standards.
- Experience with Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate operations to determine compliance with safety policies.
- Provide guidance to facility leadership on safe operations.
- Conduct inspections of site air, tanks, and wastewater.
