Job summary

Clean Harbors in Dolton, IL is seeking a Class A Driver (Retail Technician) to provide environmental services including collection, disposal, and recycling. You will load, transport, and at times visit retail sites while ensuring health and safety, with company-paid CDL B training offered.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's license is required.
• By position, eligible to obtain a CDL Class B with hazmat and tanker endorsement within 6 months of hire, company paid.
• Perform physical functions per job requirements.
• Background check, drug test, and physical may be required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure health and safety is the top priority and follow all safety policies.
• Pickup, pack and transport damaged/recall goods and waste.
• Load, pack and segregate materials for transport.
• Drive a Box Truck to retail sites and interact with customers at each stop.
• Prepare DOT shipping documents and use a laptop/printer/iPhone for tasks.
• Comply with OSHA, EPA, DOT and company policies at customer locations.
• Follow local, state and federal regulations and observe company EH&S guidelines.
