The incumbent must ensure safety, calibrate instruments, and assist with project logistics. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least three years of relevant experience,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or significant related experience.
• Minimum three years of experience supporting scientific research activities.
• Knowledge of laboratory safety protocols and regulatory compliance.
• Knowledge of laboratory instrumentation and basic data handling.
• Ability to operate and troubleshoot laboratory and field equipment.
• Willingness to lift, work outdoors, and operate boats/field vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Support field, laboratory, and data workflows for research projects.
• Conduct field sampling, processing, and data collection under supervision.
• Operate and maintain field vehicles, boats, and shared equipment.
• Maintain equipment records, calibration documents, and SOPs.
• Coordinate logistics, scheduling, and project-related shipments.
• Assist with reports, budgets, and proposal-related tasks.
