Woodard & Curran is seeking an Environmental Remediation Technician to join our team in New England. You will perform remediation system management, field data collection, and environmental sampling for industrial, commercial, and municipal clients.
The role requires travel throughout New England, occasional nationwide travel, and flexibility for time-sensitive responses. OSHA HAZWOPER and OSHA 10-Hour Construction training are preferred; a high school diploma or higher is expected.

We are looking for a motivated, bright, and talented Environmental Remediation Technician to join our company in one of our New England offices. The selected candidate will work alongside a diverse group of experienced engineers, technical specialists, geologists, and scientists from across our practice to provide operations, maintenance, time-sensitive environmental response action, environmental sampling, and construction support for our industrial, commercial, and municipal clients. An Environmental Remediation Technician will perform a broad range of field-based activities associated with the environmental consulting industry. Position responsibilities will include: remediation system installation, operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and/or repair; remediation system monitoring, data collection and tracking; time-sensitive environmental response action; support to the characterization of contaminated sites; remediation construction oversight and monitoring; heavy equipment operation; and contractor management and observation. Fieldwork, data collection, record keeping, and daily communication; and interaction with project staff will play an important role in the candidate’s success. The position requires the ability and willingness to travel and work on environmental remediation and construction sites throughout the New England Region on a routine basis. The role requires flexibility to support occasional time-sensitive environmental response actions during standard and non-standard working hours as well as periodic nationwide travel based on project and client needs.

Travel: 90- 100% average throughout New England Region with periodic nationwide travel based on project and client needs
A successful candidate will also be detail oriented and have excellent verbal communication skills combined with a positive attitude and possess the ability to perform in-field calculations, read and understand construction and system process drawings, specifications, and contract documents. The candidate must be able to mobilize on short notice to support time-sensitive environmental response, remediation, and field activities throughout New England and occasionally nationwide. The candidate must have the willingness to adjust schedules and travel as project demands require, including overnight stays.

Group A (RI) = $70,000 – $100,000
Group B (CT, Andover/Canton MA) = $80,000 – $110,000
The anticipated compensation range for this position is based on several factors, including the candidate’s qualifications, experience, education, skills, and primary work location. Final compensation will be determined based on these factors and adjusted, where applicable, by a geographic differential. Geographic differentials are percentage-based adjustments that reflect variations in labor market costs across locations. As a result, the compensation range for this position may vary depending on where the successful candidate is located and performs their work.
