Job summary

Clean Harbors is seeking an Environmental Project Manager, PSG to support Project Services and oversee remediation projects. The role involves managing project scopes, costs, schedules, and field supervision across remote locations in Alaska and other regions.

The position requires a civil/geological engineering background, 5+ years of environmental project mgmt experience, strong customer relations, and the ability to travel to project sites. A valid DL and clean MVR are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil or geological engineering or related discipline.
• 5+ years of project mgmt experience in environmental remediation.
• Cost estimating experience and ability to develop/change orders.
• Supervisory or crew-leading experience in the field.
• Valid driver’s license and clean MVR.
• Ability to travel.
• Knowledge of relevant federal/state regulations governing remediation sites.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Project Manager for Clean Harbors Environmental Construction group on environmental, civil construction and demolition projects.
• Lead proposal preparation, including cost estimates, work scopes and schedules.
• Supervise crews of laborers and heavy equipment operators in the field.
• Develop relationships with key customers and understand their concerns and priorities.
• Provide engineering and technical support to field service offices and subcontractors.
