Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience operating heavy equipment in construction or environmental remediation.
• Valid Driver’s License with a clean 5-year MVR.
• Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug/alcohol screenings.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Willingness to travel to various job sites and work extended hours or weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, dozers, and skid steers for excavation and site restoration.
• Support remediation and construction activities including trenching, waste removal, grading, and site prep.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and report issues.
• Load and spread soil, gravel, and debris with proper technique.
• Maintain safety, health, and environmental policies compliance.
• Set up and remove containment and erosion-control barriers.
• Collaborate with environmental crews to follow site work plans.
• Keep accurate equipment logs and field reports.
• Attend daily safety meetings and tailgate talks.
• Perform other duties to support project completion.
