Job summary

Pacscon Geoenvironmental Inc is seeking a registered professional engineer (PE) and a registered geologist (PG) with expertise in environmental remediation to design, manage and execute cleanup strategies for contaminated soil, groundwater and vapor intrusion in Florida.

The role involves conducting site assessments, developing RAPs, overseeing remediation systems, and ensuring compliance with EPC DA, FDEP, RCRA and CERCLA standards while coordinating with laboratories and contractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Geology.
• 8+ years hands-on experience with environmental remediation.
• PE or PG certification.
• 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification.

Responsibilities

• Conduct environmental site assessments, plume mapping, contaminant fate and transport evaluations, and soil/groundwater/vapor sampling.
• Develop cost-effective remediation strategies and RAPs using technologies like SVE or air sparging.
• Oversee well installations, pilot testing, and performance monitoring of remediation systems.
• Ensure compliance with local/state/federal standards (EPC DA, FDEP, RCRA, CERCLA) and lead reporting.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, labs, and project teams while managing budgets and schedules.
