Job summary

PACSCON GeoEnvironmental, Inc. is seeking a registered professional engineer (PE) and a registered geologist (PG) with environmental remediation expertise in Florida.

The role designs, manages, and executes cleanup strategies for soil, groundwater, and vapor contamination from petroleum and hazardous spills, with familiarity of Florida restoration programs a strong plus. The position requires 8+ years of hands-on experience, PE or PG certification, and strong technical writing, data

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Geology.
• 8+ years of hands-on experience with the key responsibilities listed above.
• PE or PG certifications.
• 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification.
• Strong technical writing and data interpretation; proficiency with environmental data analysis and remediation software.

Responsibilities

• Site Assessments & Investigations: conduct environmental site assessments, plume mapping, sampling.
• Remedial Design: develop cost-effective remediation strategies and RAPs; familiarity with SVE/air sparging.
• System Operations: oversee well installations, pilot testing, monitoring of remediation systems.
• Regulatory Compliance: adhere to local/state/federal environmental standards; prepare reports and No Further Action (NFA).
• Project Management: coordinate all aspects with subcontractors, labs, and cross-functional teams; manage budgets and schedules.
