Job summary

UES is seeking a Senior Environmental Remediation Engineer (PE) to lead groundwater and soil remediation system design and pilot testing across Midwest projects. You will oversee operations, mentor junior staff, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver effective remediation solutions.

The role requires a PE license, strong regulatory knowledge, and proven technical writing and analytical abilities to drive complex projects from evaluation to successful remediation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering or related field.
  • 2–5 years of relevant AEC or consulting experience.
  • Strong knowledge of environmental permitting and regulatory frameworks.
  • Demonstrated technical writing and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the technical design of groundwater and soil remediation systems.
  • Prepare remedial design packages, specifications, calculations, and drawings.
  • Develop and oversee AS/SVE pilot testing programs and interpret data.
  • Mentor junior engineers and environmental scientists.
  • Support project planning, client meetings, and regulatory interactions.
