Job summary

State of Michigan seeks an Environmental Quality Analyst to oversee onsite wastewater management across a designated region. You will provide technical guidance, review plans, and train local staff, ensuring compliance with MCSSD and related rules.

The role involves assisting with site assessments, accreditation reviews, and collaboration with developers and consultants to ensure safe and compliant wastewater and water supply installations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in the biological sciences, engineering, physical sciences, resource development, or resource management.
• OR a bachelor's degree in any major with 30 semester credits in biochemistry, biology, geology, environmental health, environmental science, or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance, consultation, plan review, and program training for LHD staff and developers.
• Assist with site evaluations for onsite wastewater systems and onsite water supplies.
• Perform accreditation evaluations and self‑assessments of LHD administration of OWPs.

Education
