Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires knowledge, skill and mental development equivalent to completion of four years of college with a bachelor's degree in an engineering science.
• Prefers ability to utilize a personal computer with knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Access software.

Responsibilities

• Gains knowledge and training by working with higher level staff in routine engineering functions to support wastewater permitting programs.
• Review state construction and operating permit applications for routine wastewater sources with higher-level staff.
• Observe and participate in meetings, hearings, and discussions with applicants, consulting engineers, other Agency staff, USEPA, and the public.
• Conduct reviews of applications for property tax certification of pollution control facilities.
• Performs other duties as assigned within the scope of duties enumerated above.
