Apex Companies, LLC in Glastonbury, CT is seeking a Project Environmental Scientist to join our growing Environmental Team. You’ll collect soil, water, and air samples, analyze data, and support due diligence and regulatory reporting with the team.

The role requires a BS in Geology or related field, 2+ years of field sampling experience, strong communication, and MS Office proficiency. 40-hour HAZWOPER is preferred; valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• BS in Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Science, or related field.
• 2+ years of environmental field sampling and data collection.
• Experience with CTDEEP reporting; 40-hour HAZWOPER preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect soil, water, and air samples using various techniques.
• Analyze and interpret collected data for regulatory reporting.
• Assist with ASTM Phase I due diligence projects and RS/RBCR reports.
• Support field and reporting tasks and coordinate with staff and management.
