Job summary

The Vertex Companies, LLC is seeking a Project Manager to assist a Managing Consultant in delivering high-quality work and coordinating with team members. You will support environmental site assessments, remediation planning, and client communications while upholding the firm’s values of lifelong learning and urgency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Geology, Environmental Science, or Environmental Engineering with 4+ years related experience.
• Experience with assessment, remediation, and regulatory compliance in the region.
• Strong written and verbal communication, organizational skills.
• Proven track record of independent work product, project management, and coordination.

Responsibilities

• Create work products, manage projects, and coordinate with team members.
• Conduct environmental site assessments including soil and groundwater investigations.
• Plan and execute remediation projects including soil and groundwater remediation.
• Provide oversight to field staff and subcontractors.
• Ensure deliverables, milestones, budgets, and regulatory compliance are met.
