Job summary

Moody and Associates, Inc. is seeking a Professional Geologist for a full-time Project Manager role in the western PA region, with offices in Meadville or Erie. You will oversee projects, ensure regulatory compliance, and guide field teams with a focus on safety and quality.

The position offers a hybrid schedule with some office and field work, competitive benefits, and salary ranging $60,000–$100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in geology, hydrogeology, environmental science, or related field.
• PA Professional Geologist License preferred, not required.
• 6–10 years of demonstrated hydrogeology/environmental consulting experience.
• Working knowledge of Pennsylvania’s Land Recycling Act 2 Program and Phase I ESAs.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of project management including proposals, scope, scheduling, budgeting, and invoicing.
• Maintain frequent communication with clients, subcontractors, regulatory agencies, and staff.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to execute projects.
• Prepare deliverables such as reports, permit applications, and work plans.
• Schedule field staff and coordinate with labs, subcontractors and vendors.
