Job summary

Canacre seeks an Associate Project Manager to oversee project delivery from conception to completion, coordinating internal resources and managing scope, cost and timelines. You will communicate with clients, manage milestones, and ensure quality and compliance across environmental and permitting requirements.

Qualifications

• Degree in Biology, Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science, Project management or Business required.
• 3-5 years of professional services consulting with external clients.
• 2+ years in a management role.
• Experience with environmental permitting and construction compliance.
• Proven track record delivering projects on time and within scope.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and lead internal resources to achieve milestones and metrics.
• Liaise with clients and provide reports, updates and solutions.
• Support development of project messaging for stakeholders.
• Track progress from task to schedule and cost perspectives.
• Ensure client deliverables are completed on schedule.
• Follow established project management practices.
• Review client deliverables for quality.
• Host client and internal project team meetings to review progress.
• Identify risks and escalate as needed, with contingency plans.
• Approve expenses and monitor timesheets and budgets.
• Ensure safety and training requirements are met.
• Collaborate with Business Development to identify opportunities.
