Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking an Experienced Environmental Remediation Scientist in New Jersey. The candidate will lead projects, oversee a variety of environmental remediation tasks, and manage client relationships. Ideal applicants should possess a BS degree in a relevant field, a New Jersey LSRP certification, and at least 10 years of experience in Phase I/II investigations. Job description

Our client has a full-time opening for an Experienced Environmental Remediation Scientist to lead projects. Individuals must have experience and capabilities to oversee & manage a variety of environmental remediation projects. The client is looking for someone experienced with managing projects.

Requirements

• BS Degree (preferred), in Engineering, Geology, Environmental Sciences, or related applicable technical field.
• Must have NJ LSRP
• Strong technical skills and excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong motivation to produce quality work products on budget and on time.
• Comfortable working with contractors.
• Minimum 10 years of experience performing/implementing Phase l/ll, site investigation and remediation projects.
• New Jersey experience required; NY and PA experience preferred
• Meeting with and presenting to clients and regulatory agencies.
• Working with the NJDEP Site Remediation Program and DEP, DOP, and other regulatory agencies.
• Willingness to participate in the business development process through the development of client relationships, cost estimation technical specialties or service initiatives conducting presentations in-house and at technical meetings and conferences.
