Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Environmental Project Manager to oversee multiple remediation projects from planning to closeout in California. You will manage schedules, budgets, field teams, and client communications while ensuring compliance with OSHA, EPA, and state/regional requirements.

The role requires strong cost tracking, risk management, and proficiency with Procore or equivalent PM software, along with a proven track record in soil and groundwater remediation projects.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Environmental Project Management experience.
  • Proven experience managing environmental remediation projects.
  • Strong understanding of contaminated soil, groundwater remediation, excavation, or environmental construction.
  • Experience managing project budgets, schedules, and subcontractors.
  • Excellent communication and client relationship management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Valid driver's license with the ability to travel to project sites.
  • Experience with asbestos abatement or hazardous materials remediation.
  • Knowledge of lead abatement, mold remediation, or industrial hygiene projects.
  • OSHA 30 Certification.
  • HAZWOPER 40-Hour Certification.
  • Experience with project management software such as Procore, Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar platforms.
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
