Job summary

Apex is seeking a Project Manager to lead environmental and engineering initiatives in the Indianapolis area. The role focuses on profitability, new business development, and technical leadership across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field; 8+ years of experience with environmental field sampling, data collection, and MCP report preparation under the direction of an LSP.
• Technical writing and oversight.
• Project management.
• Mentoring and training junior staff members.
• Microsoft 365/CRM.
• Deltek Vision experience is highly desired.
• Experience with Ohio Voluntary Action Program, Kentucky Environmental Agency, and Indiana Environmental Agency is preferred.

• Write and review technical reports and proposals.
• Provide Due Diligence technical guidance to junior personnel.
• Prepare and deliver marketing presentations.

• Mentor and train scientific staff and ensure quality work.
• Ensure safe performance of project work.
• Review Phase 1 reports and write Phase 2 proposals and reports.

What we're looking for:

• Microsoft 365/CRM
• Experience with Deltek Vision is highly desired.
• Previous experience with Ohio Voluntary Action Program, Kentucky Environmental Agency, and Indiana Environmental Agency is preferred.

Annual Expected Pay Range

$90,000 - $150,000 USD
