APTIM is seeking a Project Manager to lead environmental remediation projects in EPA Regions 8 and 9, focusing on former mining sites in Montana and California. The role requires 5+ years of REM remediation leadership, PMP or ability to obtain, and DoD/USACE/EPA contract experience.
Occasional travel and weekends may be required; PE/PG registration is a plus. Applicants located in Montana, Colorado, or California are encouraged to apply.
APTIM currently has a career‑growth opportunity for a Project Manager and leader to support our growing backlog of environmental remediation project work in EPA Regions 8 and 9 with a focus on former mining superfund sites in Montana and California. The preferred candidate would be an engineer or scientist with prior experience managing soil and groundwater remediation projects in a technical or management role who desires to transition into a Project/Program Management career track, or an established project manager with mining remediation expertise. Strong preference for experience supporting US Army Corps of Engineers cost‑reimbursable and/or USEPA fixed‑price contracts. Residential remediation experience is desirable. Prior experience with bidding and executing Federal projects required. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills are a must, including the ability to communicate clearly and confidently, both written and verbally, to all project team members including client representatives and regulatory personnel alike. As of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current pay range for this position is $89,000 - $147,000. Compensation depends on several factors including: experience, education, key skills, geographic location of the position, client requirements, external market competitiveness, and internal equity among other employees within APTIM.
