The role involves driving business growth, expanding the client base, and working within the realms of hazardous waste disposal, biohazard cleanup, oil spill response, industrial cleaning, and environmental remediation across Georgia and the southeastern United States.

Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Outside Sales Representative to join a leading company in the environmental remediation and hazardous material management industry. The role involves driving business growth, expanding the client base, and working within the realms of hazardous waste disposal, biohazard cleanup, oil spill response, industrial cleaning, and environmental remediation across Georgia and the southeastern United States.

Responsibilities
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in environmental remediation and hazardous waste management.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including government agencies, industrial clients, and emergency response teams.

  • Prepare and present competitive proposals and cost estimates to potential clients.

  • Generate leads through cold calling, networking, and industry events.

  • Negotiate and close contracts for environmental response services.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships.

  • Stay informed on industry regulations, EPA guidelines, and market trends to provide expert consultation.

  • Work closely with operations teams to ensure seamless service execution for clients.

  • Conduct on-site visits to assess environmental hazards and remediation needs.

  • Travel within Georgia and the southeastern U.S. to meet clients and secure business opportunities.

  • Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and industry events.

Essential Skills
  • 3-10 years of experience in sales, with flexibility if the candidate has an established book of business.

  • Previous experience in outside sales or business development.

  • Established industry relationships with the ability to bring contacts on board immediately.

  • Experience in government contracts and RFPs is a significant advantage.

  • Expertise in cost estimating, bidding, and contract negotiations.

  • Knowledge of hazardous material regulations, spill response, and remediation processes.

  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and results-driven mindset.

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience in environmental science, sales support, project management, customer service, technical sales, environmental engineering, environmental remediation, environmental restoration, environmental testing, environmental consulting, and environmental site assessment.

  • Focus areas include spill containment, roadway accident cleanup, waterway and soil remediation, water testing and analysis, hazardous waste disposal, and fuel cleanup.

Work Environment

The position offers a 100% remote work environment, with headquarters based in Auburn. The role requires willingness to travel, with expectations dependent on client needs. The company provides a base salary plus commission and bonus incentives, travel opportunities with mileage reimbursement, uncapped earning potential, and growth opportunities in a rapidly expanding industry.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Auburn, GA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.44 – $31.25/hr.
