Engineering Consulting Services (ECS) seeks an Environmental Project Manager to join our Industrial Hygiene group in Louisville, KY. The role blends field and office work, with growing responsibility in managing environmental projects and client relations.

Ideal candidate has a BS/MS in a related field, at least 2 years of consulting experience, and relevant certifications such as Asbestos Inspector. You will mentor staff, prepare reports, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Master of Science in an environmental field (e.g., Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Health, Environmental Engineering, Geology) required.
• Minimum 2 years of related consulting experience.
• Asbestos Inspector certification strongly preferred; CIH/CSP/ASP or equivalent licensure desired.

Responsibilities

• Manage asbestos, lead-based paint, mold, and indoor air quality assessments and remediation efforts.
• Review field reports and monitor site progress; communicate with staff and managers.
• Prepare change orders, invoices, and assist with collections; manage project budgets.
• Mentor junior staff and coordinate with clients; maintain client database and regular updates.
• Prepare environmental reports and ensure senior review; oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
