Hillmann Consulting, LLC in Union, NJ is seeking a dedicated Project Manager to join our expanding team. The role focuses on Environmental Health and Safety, remediation support, and real estate due diligence across local and nationwide contexts.

The candidate will manage field work, ensure project objectives, and maintain client relations while coordinating teams and resources. A strong background in asbestos, lead, IAQ, and mold is preferred, with certifications encouraged.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or equivalent degree in Environmental Sciences
• 2–5 years in the industry focusing on asbestos, lead, indoor air quality, and mold/moisture inspections
• Excellent communication and client management skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel
• Preferred certifications: EPA/NY Inspector License, NYC Asbestos Investigator; Lead inspector/assessor or sampling technician; NYS Mold Assessor Certification
• Additional certifications like CHMM, 40 Hour HAZWOPER, 10/30 Hour Construction Safety, and CIE/CMI desirable

Responsibilities

• Oversee project functionality and direct field work.
• Plan and manage project activities, scheduling, and reports.
• Maintain certifications and licenses; respond to client emergencies as needed.
• Manage daily client, contractor, and vendor interactions; prepare invoices and proposals.
• Visually inspect sites, collect samples, and prepare documentation for client delivery.
