Job summary

The candidate should have a BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering, strong drafting and technical writing skills, and proficiency in AutoCAD or MicroStation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering (ABET-accredited).
• 5–8 years of relevant civil or environmental engineering experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or MicroStation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Prepare SWPPPs, stormwater calculations, drainage and grading plans, erosion and sediment control plans, and related permit applications.
• Design stormwater management systems and conduct construction and industrial stormwater inspections.
• Complete Phase I Environmental Site Assessments and plan and oversee Phase II investigations.
• Evaluate environmental data and prepare technical reports, conclusions, and recommendations.
• Design petroleum bulk storage and fueling systems, including tanks, piping, containment, spill and overfill protection.
• Prepare PBS registrations, SPCC Plans, compliance evaluations, drawings, specs, estimates, regulatory submissions.
• Manage assigned projects and coordinate with clients, staff, subcontractors, laboratories, contractors, municipalities, and agencies.
• Assist with proposals, site visits, fieldwork, inspections, and client meetings.
