Job summary

Soundview Consultants is seeking a Technical Coordinator to assist Project Managers and internal teams in coordinating environmental projects. You will help develop scopes, budgets, and schedules, while ensuring tasks align with client expectations and regulatory requirements.

The role emphasizes strong communication, organization, and follow-through, with opportunities to oversee small teams and contribute to deliverables such as Wetland Assessments and Biological Evaluations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in environmental science or related field is required.
• 1–3 years of environmental consulting or project coordination experience is preferred.
• Experience supporting or coordinating projects and/or teams is preferred.
• Field experience in environmental data collection or assessments is preferred.
• Knowledge of environmental project management, permitting, or planning is beneficial.
• Strong technical writing and data-entry skills with high attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities with multiple priorities.
• Ability to maintain professional relationships and deliver high-quality client service.

Responsibilities

• Prepare scopes of work, budgets, and schedules for tasks with Project Managers.
• Support proposal preparation (RFQ/RFP) with Marketing.
• Maintain communication with clients and internal teams as directed by PMs.
• Support implementation of project plans developed by PMs.
• Oversee small teams for delivery of specific tasks or components.
• Identify project risks and elevate key decisions or issues to PMs.
• Coordinate with design and technical teams to meet client deadlines.
• Research and interpret regulatory codes to support project analyses.
• Submit and track permit applications; maintain organized records.
• Prepare draft deliverables such as Wetland Assessments and Biological Evaluations.
