Environmental Practice Leader – Energy & Infrastructure Consulting (California)

A leading engineering and construction consulting firm is seeking a dynamic and experienced Environmental Practice Leader to lead its environmental consulting operations across California. This executive-level role is central to driving growth, innovation, and strategic direction within the firm’s rapidly expanding energy and infrastructure sector, with a strong emphasis on environmental services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and grow the environmental practice in California, managing a multidisciplinary team of 30–35 professionals.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to expand the firm’s footprint in energy and infrastructure consulting, including T&D, mission-critical, water, and manufacturing sectors.
  • Drive business development efforts, leveraging a strong network to win new work and strengthen client relationships.
  • Partner with senior leadership to define and execute the environmental group’s vision and long-term growth strategy.
  • Ensure excellence in project delivery, technical quality, and regulatory compliance across all environmental consulting services.
The Ideal Candidate
  • Proven leadership experience overseeing environmental or technical teams within the AEC consulting industry.
