Job summary

HNTB Corporation in Raleigh, NC invites Summer 2027 interns to join the Environmental Planning group. You will assist with planning support from concept through project completion, conducting basic research, data collection, and preparing project materials to ensure regulatory compliance.

Selected interns will work on GIS map development, environmental data analysis, and the preparation of environmental reports in line with CEQA and NEPA requirements.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a related undergraduate or graduate program.
• Experience with GIS map development.
• Ability to analyze demographic and environmental data.
• Experience in environmental reporting and CEQA/NEPA knowledge.
• Field work and data gathering experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist project team members with support tasks.
• Conduct basic research and data collection.
• Maintain records and project files.
• Develop graphics, presentations, and reports.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
