Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in planning, environmental law, biology, or related field.
• 5+ years of transportation-related experience.
• Experience with NEPA environmental compliance for transportation infrastructure.
• Excellent writing and verbal communication; ability to work in a team.
• Experience communicating findings to clients and coordinating with agencies.
• Ability to manage scope, schedule, and budget projects.
• Ability to produce high-quality work meeting client expectations.
• Experience participating in proposal preparation and interviews.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office software.

Responsibilities

• Project and task coordinator for NEPA documents.
• Organize and collaborate with staff on research to support document preparation.
• Project scoping, developing purpose and need, alternatives, and NEPA-compliant documents.
• Prepare NEPA documents including CEs, EAs, and EISs.
• Handle special studies such as Section 4(f), ESA, NHPA, permitting or other regulations.
• Be knowledgeable of timely project deliverables and provide quality management.
• Assist with public outreach efforts.
• Manage multiple projects of varying topics and complexity.
