Job summary

Kimley-Horn in Northern Virginia is seeking an Environmental Planner to join our multi-disciplinary environmental planning team in Reston. You will serve as a Planning and Environmental Manager for infrastructure projects and lead the writing of technical plans and environmental documents.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 7+ years of planning experience, with excellent writing, communication, and leadership skills. Base salary range listed: $115,000–$125,000.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Transportation Planning, Urban Planning, Environmental Planning, Environmental Policy, or related degree
  • 7+ years of progressively responsible planning experience related to transportation planning, environmental planning, or urban planning (or Master’s + 6+ years)
  • Excellent writing and communication skills, organization skills, problem solving, and consensus building
  • Commitment to producing high quality work with attention to detail
  • Self-motivated team player
  • Ability to balance priorities among multiple projects
  • Ability to lead planning projects, including providing direction to entry-level Analysts

Base Salary Range:
$115,000.00 - $125,000.00
