Job summary

First Majestic Silver Corp-Jerritt Canyon Gold is looking for an Environmental Permitting Specialist to develop strategies supporting long-term operational plans. This role demands collaboration with various teams and the management of consultants to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and have proven experience in environmental permitting projects. Familiarity with Nevada regulations and the NEPA process is preferred. Excellent communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading large and complex environmental permitting projects.
• Prior permitting experience in Nevada is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with the U.S. Forest Service NEPA process is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement permitting strategies.
• Lead and coordinate all environmental permitting activities.
• Manage external consultants for timely deliverables.
• Collaborate with geology and engineering teams on permitting requirements.
• Prepare, review, and submit permit applications and modifications.
• Monitor regulatory changes affecting permitting strategies.
