Job summary

Environmental Works, Inc. is seeking an Operations Manager to lead our Omaha office, overseeing field services, emergency response, and industrial maintenance. You will develop client relationships, grow the local book of business, and manage projects from scope to invoicing while maintaining safety and profitability. This full-time role requires strong leadership, electrical/chemical safety awareness, and a hands-on approach.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Five or more years in environmental field services or related.
• Three or more years in supervisory, crew leadership, PM, or ops mgmt.
• HAZWOPER certification and CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage field operations safely, efficiently, and profitably.
• Oversee projects from scoping to closeout with proper documentation.
• Prepare cost estimates and work plans; assist with proposals.
• Ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and client satisfaction.
• Develop and grow the Omaha market and local book of business.
• Coordinate resources, crews, and equipment for field work.
