Job summary

Pace in Oklahoma City is seeking a Scientist 1 - Environmental Microbiology to analyze environmental samples for mold and other fungal structures, and to maintain laboratory records. This is a full-time onsite position with standard hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, in Oklahoma City, OK.

Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Microbiology or a related field, with training provided if needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Biology or other science-related field (or equivalent).
• Ability to work effectively in a laboratory environment, including standing for extended periods, working around strong odors, and using PPE.

Responsibilities

• Analyze environmental samples for mold and other fungal structures via microscope and related methods.
• Clean, maintain, and calibrate laboratory instruments and equipment.
• Document procedures, observations, and results accurately to maintain good records.
