The ideal candidate has 1–3+ years in an accredited environmental lab with metals focus, plus experience with EPA methods and LIMS data entry. This position requires strong documentation practices and teamwork within QA and cross-functional groups.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry or related discipline.
• 1–3+ years in an accredited environmental lab focusing on metals.
• Preferred certifications: NELAC/TNI, EPA method-specific certifications.
• Experience with EPA protocols and QA/QC practices.

Responsibilities

• Conduct trace-metal analysis in environmental samples per EPA methods.
• Perform sample preparation including digestion and fusion techniques.
• Operate and maintain ICP-OES/ICP-MS and other analyzers.
• Enter, verify, and review data in LIMS; ensure traceability.
• Participate in audits, proficiency testing, and method validation.
• Collaborate with QA officers and cross-functional teams.
• Maintain detailed bench sheets and logbooks per SOPs.
