Job summary

Vanguard EMS, Inc. in Beaverton, Oregon, seeks a Mechanical Test Engineer - Environmental to own production test equipment, tools and fixtures. The role is hands-on and supports a facility upgrade to expand environmental test capabilities, working with Production, Quality and Product teams.

The candidate will design fixtures, lead validation, automate data collection, and ensure regulatory requirements are met. Requires engineering degree and 2+ years in environmental testing.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in an environmental test setting.

Responsibilities

• Own production environmental test equipment and fixtures.
• Lead validation and verification of new test equipment and tooling.
• Develop and qualify new test processes.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality and Product teams.
• Drive DOE and data-driven improvements from process development.
• Ensure customer/regulatory requirements are met for products.
