Job summary

The Keystone Distinction Group is seeking a senior Environmental Director to lead environmental engineering, compliance and sustainability for a large manufacturing plant and three distribution centers in Texas. The role includes travel up to 25% and strategic direction across air, water and waste management.

You will supervise a substantial team, report to the General Manager, and drive a complex plant-level environmental program while mentoring environmental professionals.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental engineering, compliance and sustainability for a large manufacturing plant and three distribution centers with travel up to 25%.
• Direct supervision of a large team including (3) Environmental Engineers, an Environmental Technician and hourly staff; report to the General Manager.
• Provide technical expertise in air (Title V, PSD/NSR permits), water and waste management.
• Manage a complex plant-level environmental program and mentor environmental professionals; leadership and management are the top priorities.

Job description

The position will provide leadership and strategic direction for all environmental engineering, compliance and sustainability activities for a large manufacturing plant and (3) distribution centers with up to (25%) travel when needed.

Direct supervision of a large team including (3) Environmental Engineers, an Environmental Technician and an hourly environmental team.Position will report to the General Manager

Technical expertise should include all areas of air (permitting including Title V, PSD/NSR permits), water and waste management.

The key to this position is having proven experience managing a complex environmental program at a plant level AND managing environmental professionals.*Leadership and management are most important!
