Job summary

Langan Engineering & Environmental Services is seeking a Project Environmental/Transaction Advisory Professional to join its growing national practice. The role focuses on EHS due diligence in mergers and acquisitions, contaminated site investigations, remediation work, soil and groundwater sampling, and report preparation.

You will work with industry leaders on a diverse portfolio in a continuous learning environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, Science, or Sustainability.
• 5+ years of environmental consulting experience.
• Experience within the M&A environmental due diligence.
• Strong report writing skills.
• Strong attention to detail with analytical and data management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and in a team; willing to travel and work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Field work is required.
• Conduct EHS Due Diligence and deal support for clients.
• Assist with client development and new business opportunities.
• Coordinate and execute field investigations; log borings and collect samples.
• Perform air, soil, groundwater sampling and remediation of properties.
• Prepare logs, forms, and documentation of investigations and remedial activities.
• Oversee remediation activities and monitor conformance with plans and safety protocols.
• Assist with report preparation and post-merger integration documentation.
• Identify problems on sites and communicate solutions to supervisors.
