Dentons Cohen & Grigsby, a Pittsburgh-based firm with a growing nationwide environmental practice, seeks an attorney with experience handling environmental matters. Pennsylvania and California licenses are preferred.

In-person meetings will be required several times per year; candidates at associate, counsel, or partner levels are welcomed. Our environmental practice covers contaminated sites remediation, compliance counseling, and advisory on emergency/incident response.

Qualifikationen

• Licensed to practice in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania; California license preferred but not required.
• Experience with remediated sites and related construction law issues desirable but not essential.
• Experience at associate, counsel, or partner level welcomed.

Aufgaben

• Counsel and represent clients on complex environmental remediation at contaminated sites.
• Research and analyze environmental compliance and regulatory issues for site cleanups.
• Coordinate with local counsel on state- and location-specific issues.
• Advise on Brownfields development and third-party site development during environmental cleanup.
• Assess PFAS concerns at existing sites and related regulatory implications.
• Manage dispute resolution including arbitrations and court actions.
• Contribute to business development and marketing opportunities.
