Job summary

The Lewis Group is seeking a field technician to execute assignments across Remediation, Waste Transportation, Industrial Maintenance, and Emergency Response. The role emphasizes safety, accountability, integrity, and quality in daily operations.

You will follow supervisor directions, perform manual labor, travel on-site and overnight as needed, and adhere to OSHA regulations and hazardous material handling policies. A flexible schedule and valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• Clean MVR and criminal background required.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Flexibility in personal schedule including weekend and on call.
• Strong focus on Safety, Quality, Accountability, Integrity, and Teamwork.
• 40 Hours OSHA and related Safety Training is a plus.
• DOT Examiner’s Certificate.

• Practice safe work practices by following all Company safety rules and OSHA regulations, including attendance at all required safety training programs.
• Perform a wide variety of manual labor tasks.
• Perform Industrial Cleaning tasks in accordance with Company and/or Client Policy and Procedures to ensure safety and quality goals are met.
• Travel daily and overnight when performing both planned and emergency services work.
• Adhere to all regulations and procedures regarding the handling of hazardous and non-hazardous materials.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and exert physical effort performing manual labor the majority of the day
• Ability to work in confined spaces
• Ability to wear respirators as needed
• Ability to lift 60 lbs.
• Ability to travel in inclement weather and work in severe weather conditions both hot and cold
• Able to tolerate exposure to moderate noise levels
