Job summary

Eurofins Environment Testing in Ridgeland, MS seeks a Laboratory Technician I to perform general laboratory methods and support daily operations in a QA-compliant environment. The role involves sample handling, preparation, and routine maintenance of lab spaces and equipment.

The position requires a 2–4 year science degree, chemistry coursework, and basic lab experience, with English proficiency and US work authorization.

Qualifications

• Education: 2 to 4 year degree in science.
• Experience: Chemistry coursework, basic laboratory experience.
• Ability: English proficiency and ability to read/write/speak in English.

Responsibilities

• Retrieves samples from Sample Control for analysis.
• Performs sample preparation including spike/trace, reagent prep, bottle samples, and concentration prep.
• Resolves discrepancies and ensures proper labeling of samples.
• Prepares general lab paperwork, records results, tracks samples, and maintains logbooks.
• Washes glassware and stocks laboratory supplies; cleans work areas for safety.
• Builds bottle kits and assists other laboratory areas as needed.
