Job summary

Eurofins Environment Testing (USA) in Carrollton, TX is hiring Laboratory Technician I. The role supports lab operations by maintaining spaces, equipment, and supplies while following QA programs and SOPs. Responsibilities include sample retrieval, preparation, labeling, and paperwork, with potential overtime.

Requirements include a high school diploma and basic chemistry/lab experience, plus unrestricted work authorization in the U.S. Ability to read, write, and speak English is mandatory.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• High school Chemistry coursework and basic laboratory experience.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
• Professional working proficiency in English (reading, writing and speaking).

Responsibilities

• Retrieves samples from Sample Control for analysis.
• Performs sample preparation including aliquotting, spiking, reagent preparation, bottle labeling, concentration preparation, separation, and liquid rack setup.
• Resolves discrepancies and anomalies to ensure proper sample labeling.
• Prepares general laboratory paperwork such as recording analysis results, tracking samples, bench sheets, and laboratory logbooks.
• Washes laboratory glassware and prepares it for next day’s samples.
• Stocks laboratory supplies.
• Cleans work areas to maintain a safe environment.
• Assists other laboratory areas as needed.
