Job summary

Eurofins Environmental Testing Southwest in Tustin, CA, is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join our team. This role trains in sample prep for water, soil, and aquatic tissue, following established methods and safety procedures.

You will handle multiple tasks, maintain accurate records, and work to meet deadlines and quality standards while following SOPs and company policies. A strong team player with attention to detail is encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• No prior laboratory experience required; training provided.
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Receive, prepare, and organize water, soil, and aquatic tissue samples.
• Evaluate workload and prioritize based on due dates and holding times.
• Document preparation steps, observations, and results accurately.
• Prepare reagents and standards for daily use.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and cleanliness.
• Follow SOPs, safety policies, and company procedures.
• Communicate status and issues with managers and teams.
• Meet turnaround times and production goals.
• Learn new techniques during training.
• Assist with other lab activities as needed.
