Job summary

Veolia North America is seeking a Lab Technician to analyze used water samples and perform chemical, biological, and physical tests for quality control. Under the project manager, you will prepare samples, maintain equipment, and compile data for reports in the lab and field.

The role requires an Associate's degree or equivalent and up to two years of related experience. Bilingualism is a plus, and there is strong emphasis on accuracy, documentation, and teamwork in a lab environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in qualitative/quantitative chemistry or biology preferred.
• Zero to two years experience in a related position in a laboratory environment.
• Experience with analytical chemistry equipment such as gas chromatograph, calorimeter, etc.

Responsibilities

• Prepare samples for analysis and maintain proper documentation.
• Perform routine and non-routine tests for quality control in water analysis.
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment and document procedures.
• Monitor non-standard results with the supervisor and assist in special studies.
