Job summary

Eurofins Environment Testing is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join the Tinley Park, IL site on a full-time temporary basis, with potential for temporary to hire. The role involves preparing and analyzing environmental samples using standard analytical techniques in accordance with Eurofins procedures.

Essential duties include operating and training on complex instrumentation (GC, GC-MS, AAS, ICP), performing aliquots and weightings, maintaining safety and GMP/GLP standards, and supporting

Qualifications

• BS/BA in chemistry or related field preferred.
• 1–2 years of laboratory exposure.
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Professional working proficiency in English (reading, writing and speaking).
• Previous production-oriented work helpful.

Responsibilities

• Operates and maintains analytical instrumentation including GC, GC-MS, AAS, and ICP.
• Prepares and analyzes environmental samples following standard methods and SOPs.
• Records, reports data and notifies supervisor of unusual test results.
• Ensures GMP/GLP compliance and adheres to safety procedures.
• Keeps work area clean and organized.
