Job summary

Eurofins Environment Testing (USA) is seeking a Laboratory Analyst to join the Tinley Park, IL site. The role involves preparing and analyzing environmental samples using standard analytical techniques in compliance with Eurofins programs and SOPs. The ideal candidate will have a BS/BA in chemistry or a related field, 1–2 years of lab experience, and proficiency in English.

Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5 PM. Starting pay: $18–$20/hr depending on experience.

Qualifications

• BS or BA in chemistry or related field preferred.
• 1-2 years of previous laboratory exposure or experience.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
• Professional working proficiency in English is a requirement, including reading, writing and speaking in English.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates and promotes the company vision.
• Regular attendance and punctuality.
• Applies GMP/GLP in all areas of responsibility, as appropriate.
• Responsible for general housekeeping in his/her work area.
• Ability to become trained and competent on complex instrumentation including but not limited to gas chromatography, gas chromatography/mass spectrometry, atomic absorption, ICP, and instrument specific data systems.
• Works under close supervision using routine and standard methods.
• Aliquots and weighs samples.
• Washes glassware.
• Conducts all activities in a safe and efficient manner.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
