Job summary

Nutrien is seeking a laboratory technician to join our environmental testing team in Pennsylvania. You will prepare samples, operate standard laboratory instrumentation, and document results to SOPs in a fast-paced setting.

This role supports safety and quality in Nutrien's agriscience operations, with a focus on accuracy, inventory management, and collaboration with group leaders to ensure reliable analyses and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 years of previous experience working in an environmental laboratory is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare samples for a wide variety of testing procedures, following outlined SOPs.
• Operate and maintain scientific equipment/instrumentation.
• Document activities and report results accurately and concisely.
• Assist group leaders and analysts in ordering and inventorying consumables, chemicals, and parts for instrumentation.
• Ensure cleanliness and proper maintenance of laboratory equipment and work areas.
• Model our core value of safety by enabling a culture in which you are actively contributing to a safe work environment.
• Other duties as required.
