Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Bachelor's degree in any science field is a plus.
• Minimum 1 year of lab experience preferred.
• Knowledge of general lab practices and lab safety.
• Knowledge of basic laboratory techniques (PPE, balance, pipetting, glassware).
• Experience in metal preparation is a plus.
• Ability to lift and carry at least 25 lbs.
• Ability to stay in one position for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• High-throughput preparation of environmental samples for metals testing.
• Operate analytical equipment such as balances, pipettes, bottle top dispensers, hot blocks, and glassware.
• Monitor sample scheduling to meet holding times per EPA methods.
• Schedule workload to meet client due dates.
• Perform sample prep according to SOPs and EPA methods.
• Review data and QC of batches; ensure QA/QC criteria.
