Job summary

Intertek is seeking a Sample Processing Clerk / Lab Technician to support daily lab operations in Pittsburgh, PA. You will receive, log, and process environmental samples, maintain records in LIMS, and assist with reporting and data entry.

The role is on-site Monday–Friday, with benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO, tuition reimbursement, and more. Minimum education is High School/GED; one year of lab experience preferred; strong computer skills and attention to detail are

Qualifications

• Minimum education required is High School/GED; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience with laboratory information management systems (LIMS) and data entry.
• Strong computer skills and ability to learn laboratory software quickly.

Responsibilities

• Sample and quality control preparation for analysis.
• Receive and log environmental samples into LIMS.
• Maintain accurate electronic records for traceability.
• Prepare, review, and issue reports.
• Enter and verify data in laboratory databases and MS Office.
• Greet clients and assist with sample submissions.
• Respond to inquiries by phone or email and direct to staff.
• Assist with inventory, supplies, and lab organization.
• Support continuous improvement of procedures.
